סַפְסָל

סַפְסָלm. (v. סֵפֶל 2) frame, bench, stool. Kidd.70a ס׳ דאמור רבנןוכ׳ call it safsal (Hebrew) as the scholars do, or (v. אִיסְטְבָא 2). Kel. XXII, 3 ס׳ שניטלוכ׳ a bench (long board) which has lost one of its ends (supports). Tosef. ib. B. Bath.I, 12 ס׳ שנתפרק a frame which has fallen apart Mikv. V, 2; a. fr.Pl. סַפְסַלִּים, סַפְסַלִּין.
